SIMPLE Mobile Review

Published by admin on

I wanted to check out SIMPLE Mobile today. I have known about SIMPLE Mobile for a while, but I am not going to do a full review at the moment. I am going to check out simple mobile.com to see what they have to offer.

The first offer I saw was for the $50 unlimited talk, text, and data plan. It seems like a good price for an unlimited plan. I will get to the DVD quality later.

They use the T-Mobile network. There are a lot of opinions about the network. Some people love it and others don’t. The T-Mobile network has changed a lot in the last five years. I used to use it, but it wasn’t as good. In Metro Boston, coverage wasn’t good and it didn’t support the right radio frequencies for the phone. The network is actually pretty good. The coverage on the t-mobile network is excellent and the speeds are really fast. During peak hours, the AT&T network seemed to be more congested than the Verizon network, but it was fast. The T-Mobile network can be hidden if your area has good coverage.

SIMPLE Mobile has a list of reasons why you should try it.

No contracts, no credit checks, no hidden fees, 30-Day plans start at $25 and include unlimited international calling to select destinations.

I think items 1, 3, and 4 are some of the best. It is hard to argue with the fact that they promised more speed and faster data. The plans start at 25. International calling is included in the base plan price for people who need it.

The items 2, 5, 6, and 7 are standard. Credit checks are not standard for pre-paid. It’s up to you if using the T-Mobile network is a benefit for you or not. I prefer owning my phone and not buying a new one because most carriers sell phones and most companies offer monthly payments. They support Bring Your Own Phone or device, which I consider standard for pre-paid wireless services.

You can buy SIMPLE Mobile phones, SIMs, and refill in a number of retail locations, including Best Buy, Walgreen’s, and others. You can find a store near you by using the Find a Retailer button. I’ve seen SIMPLE mobile in a number of stores. I really like the fact that they have a $1 BYOP kit at these locations.

You can see the fine print at the bottom of the page. DBA is an abbreviation for Doing Business As, so SIMPLE Mobile is another brand owned by Trac Wirelessfone, with this brand offering service exclusively on the T-Mobile network

Plans and Features

I looked at the front page and decided to check out the plans. There are four different plans priced at $25, $40, $50, and $60 per month.

International calling and text are included in all four of the plans.

The $25 and $40 plans have 1 and 4 gigabytes of data, respectively. When you use up your high speed data on these two plans, the speeds will be reduced to 2G data speeds which will be so slow that you won’t be able to send a message. unlimited data is included in the $50 and $60 plans. With the $60 plan you can use a mobile hotspot to connect your laptop, tablet, or other wireless device to your phone and use up to 8g of 4G data. They don’t make you pay for it if you don’t use it, that’s a good thing.

There is no option to buy more high speed data if you have a $25 or $40 plan.

One thing you need to be aware of is that streaming video international sim card unlimited data will only play at a high quality. The quality of HD video will be reduced before you can stream it to your phone. It is said that carriers do this because it will help you save high speed data. If you have a high end phone that can display HD quality video and an unlimited data plan, they are saving data for themselves. Some people don’t care about this, others do. One of the biggest uses of data is watching video online, and one of the reasons people need unlimited data.

Automatic payment is offered by all four of the plans. SIMPLE Mobile has an automatic payment plan. The plan has a discount. The plans have a discount. The plan has a discount. The plan prices are as follows: $23.75, $38.50, $48.50, and $57.

International calling and texting are included in the plans. Mexico, Canada, China, and India all have mobile phones. You can call up to 15 international numbers. You can call from inside Mexico, but not from Canada. You can dial international calls from the US. You can call the US from Mexico. You need to use the SIMPLE Mobile Direct App or dial the number to make international calls from Mexico.

It’s nice to know you can dial many international calls. Many services require you to dial an access number first and then a phone number in order to use them. Most services have an app on your phone that will allow you to pre-book access. The restriction of 15 numbers is reasonable.

I didn’t find a description of the limitations for using unlimited data on simple mobile. I think t-mobile will apply the same limitations as T-Mobile. The top 3% of data users may experience reduced speeds due to prioritization. I am only speculating, but I couldn’t find any information on the site.

I like the $25 plan that has 1gigabyte of high speed data. I think this is a great place to live. If you are a heavy data user and don’t mind the reduced quality DVD streaming video, the $50 unlimited plan is a very competitive plan.
